Nikon EN-EL5 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery November 16, 2008 Barbara J. Szymanski (Forest Hill, MD) I found Amazon.com to be a great way to obtain an extra battery for my new camera, at a fraction of the cost of our local stores. What a find!
New batteries EN-EL5 for my cameras July 26, 2008 A. E. Tavares Filho (Houston, US) Yes, the order worked fine. I have just asked for two new EN-EL5 batteries and worked. No more comments.
Perfect April 11, 2008 C. Genger (Ca) Just what I was looking for to replace my battery and keep taking pictures when I run out of power in my Nikon Coolpix.
Compared to "AA" batteries February 10, 2008 M. Bristol (White Bluff, Tn. USA) This is the first camera I own, that uses this type battery. My old camera used "AA" and I mean used them. I had to keep at least 12 spare batteries ready because after a few shots the batteries were dead. Also, it is light and doesn't take much space in my camera bag, compared to 12 "AA" batteries. So in comparison to them, this battery is great, in every feature. As compared to other batteries of the same kind, I cannot say how it compares. But for hours of shots with one battery, this is the one. Since it is still new, I don't know how long it will last. I am anxious to see, but for now, it keeps going and going, and going.
false advertising January 19, 2008 N. Carlson (Philadelphia, PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was clearly advertised as a "Nikon" battery but when it came it was a cheap generic substitute.
