I purchased two of these for use with a Kodak Easyshare z812is (3-volt) camera. I got these for $10.00 each + shipping. Couldn't beat the price. They work well.
When shooting pictures, I put charged rechargeable batteries in the camera, connect the external battery, and can now shoot at least 300 pictures before changing to the second power pack. Since this camera will also do 720p hi-def video, I can now do very long video clips without worrying about battery life. Battery charge time 1.5-3.0 hrs.
The only complaint - no indicator to show when charging is complete.
Note: Power usage LEDs will not lite until power output cable is attached to the power pack.
