The O-ME53 is a very useful tool. I put it on my K200D and keep it there. It helps a lot during Manual focusing.
The only "quip" I have is I'd like to have at least 1.8-2x magification - the O-ME53 is only 1.2

This fits perfectly, allows a complete view of the viewfinder information and aids in manual focusing. It also moves my nose just a little bit further from the back of the camera reducing the amount of 'nose-grease' that can accumulate on the screen. Highly recommended.

If you're using MF lenses, this is an invaluable upgrade to assist with focusing. I have no trouble seeing the display at the bottom of the eyepiece, and while I may not always see the entire field of view, it is very intuitive to look around inside the eyepiece and see everything.

The magnifying Eyepiece went on the camera and is not in the way. It works well with or without glasses. It is not a big power in magnification but it helps and it is better than the little rubber cup that it replaces. It is even more comfortable to use. I use it on my Pentax *ist DL.

Improves the focusing when using my F1.7 manual lens. Manual focus is tricky when the depth of field is so narrow. Its never off the camera, I used it on all of my lenses. No problem seeing any information listed along the bottom when looking through the viewfinder. Some have complained about this. Not for me. Good upgrade for my K100d.
