This camera is attractive and functional, with many useful settings. Stabilization is very good for its class, with snaps of kids and ethletic events looking better than you might think. The flash recycles quickler than many competitors. A negative is that the picture quality is not outstanding, despite the pixels, which really do not matter as much as people often think. However, durability is simply superb. If you expect to drop this li'l baby, slam it around a bit, splash it, squeeze it, or have the kids make supper with it, then this camera is for you. If you plan on being Junior Richard Avedon, consider another choice, since the lense quality is not as good as competitiors or higher priced models. Battery life, however, is phenomenal and video quality is very good for this class. Screen resolution stays strong throught the battery life and the screen is readable on a bright day. A minor drawback is the mini-USB, which are presently less common.
